Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 11, 2026
This policy explains what information Lancaster Water Damage Restoration collects, why we collect it, and who we share it with. The site is run by Lancaster Water Damage Restoration ("we", "us").
This policy is a template pending legal review.
Who we are
We run a free referral service for homes in Lancaster, CA. When you call, we connect you with an independent restoration company that serves your area. We are not a contractor, and we don't do restoration work.
What information do we collect?
We collect information when you call us, when you visit the site, and when you send us a message. We don't ask for more than we need to connect your call or answer you.
When you call
Calls to the number on this site go through a call-tracking service run by our referral network. That service may log basic details about each call.
- the phone number you call from
- the date and time of the call
- how long the call lasts
- the general area your call comes from, such as your ZIP code if you give it
Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality and call tracking. By calling, you agree to this.
If a call is recorded, the recording includes what you say. That may include your name, address and details about the damage.
When you visit the site
We use an analytics service to see how people use the site. It uses cookies or similar tools. It may collect your device type, browser, pages viewed, the site that sent you here, and a rough location based on your internet address.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, the analytics service is not loaded.
When you send a message
If the site shows a message form, it may ask for your name, email address, phone number and a short message. All fields you fill in are sent to us. You can also email us directly instead.
Why do we use this information?
We use it to run the referral service and the website. That includes:
- connecting your call with a restoration company that serves your area
- checking that calls are routed and counted correctly
- answering your questions and fixing mistakes on the site
- learning which pages help people, so we can improve them
- keeping the site secure and preventing misuse
- meeting legal duties
How long do we keep it?
We keep personal information for up to 14 months, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. The referral network and the company you're connected with keep their own records under their own policies.
What are your California privacy rights?
California residents may have rights under California privacy law. That law is the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act. These rights apply only to businesses that meet certain thresholds, and there are exceptions.
The California Privacy Protection Agency lists these rights under this law.
- the right to know what personal information a business has collected and how it uses and shares it
- the right to delete personal information collected from you, subject to some exceptions
- the right to correct inaccurate personal information
- the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information
- the right to limit the use of sensitive personal information
- the right to equal treatment, meaning a business can't discriminate against you for using these rights
The agency says the law covers for-profit businesses that do business in California, collect consumers' personal information, and meet at least one test. One test is gross annual revenue of $26.625 million or more (the figure in effect since January 1, 2025). Another is buying, selling or sharing the personal information of 100,000 or more California residents or households. A third is earning 50% or more of yearly revenue from selling or sharing it.
Even where the law may not apply to us, you can ask us to see, correct or delete your information. Email hello@lancasterwaterdamagerestoration.com with your request. We may need to confirm who you are before we act on it. We won't treat you differently for asking.
How do we protect it?
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No website, phone system or email is completely secure, so we can't promise perfect security.

This site is meant for adults dealing with home repairs. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
